THANK YOU!

1ST EDITION: NOVEMBER 2019
UPDATED: DECEMBER 2021

This employee handbook was originally created by founders, Howard Hartry and Robert L. (Bob) Hartry.  We are proud and excited to build on their foundation.

Whether you are just starting out with us, or if you have been here for many years (as many of you have), we want to start by saying Thank You!  Our company is built on the dedication and team work that you each bring to your job and, as an employee of our company, the importance of your contribution cannot be overstated.  Our goal is to provide the finest quality service, expertise and products to our customers and clients - and to do this more efficiently and effectively than our competitors. You are an integral part of this process, as your work directly influences our company’s reputation and relationships with our clients.

This employee handbook explains our personnel policies, compensation policies, benefits policies, company guidelines and specific opportunities that exist for you within our company. In an effort to be responsive to a changing industry and work environment, changes or additions to this handbook will be made when necessary. We will keep you informed when these changes are made.

Bob Hartry has said to us on many occasions that it has been the greatest honor and privilege of his life to provide employment to such good people. We agree and are so glad that you work here! We hope that you will find your work to be both challenging and rewarding in the years to come.

Sincerely,

Since its early beginning, Hartry's has been dedicated to efficiency, integrity and competitive pricing. We specialize in warehousing, distribution, importation and bonded transportation. Our sister company, Marine Wholesale & Warehouse Co., has been servicing the ports in California for over 60 years with bonded merchandise.
